Our Big Land

Produced by the Romany Theatre Company Studio in 2005, Our Big Land enjoyed wide acclaim as it went on a UK mini-tour.

Using drama, dance, music, and song, Our Big Land narrates the journey of the Romany people through the story of one woman. It starts in fifth century India, before moving through Persia and the Middle East and into Europe, then the migration into the British Isles in the sixteenth century, and finally encounters the Holocaust and modern-day prejudices.
